Atheists Hate God For The Same Reason Criminals Hate the Police: A Desire To Live Without Consequences

Proverbs 14:2 reads, “He who walks in his uprightness fears the Lord, But he who is perverse in his ways despises Him.”

This powerful proverb reveals a universal truth: those who live in righteousness honor and fear the Lord, while those who are perverts despise Him. Atheists, of course, deny that they despise God, and yet they have a string of contemptuous names for Him, such as “Invisible sky daddy,” “Flying spaghetti monster,” “Imaginary friend,” and “Magic man in the sky.” This proverb also explains why criminals hate the police. Both cases reveal a deep-seated resistance to authority and accountability.

University Places ‘Trigger Warning’ On The Bible, Claiming Account Of Jesus’ Crucifixion Contains ‘Sexual Violence’

The University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom is facing backlash after the school warned students that studying events in Scripture, including the crucifixion of Christ, can be “triggering,” and thus, the study of them should be avoided by some.

The Universities placed the “trigger warning” on the four Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—claiming, without explanation, that the events leading up to the death of Christ depict “graphic bodily injury and sexual violence.” The same label was also placed on the book of Genesis for its account of Cain and Abel.

Why We Cannot Allow The Firm Foundation Of The Truth To Be Comprimised

Christianity is built upon the bedrock of historical truth. Without absolute truth, the world is left floundering in a sea of subjectivity. What would happen when a Christian who claims Jesus is the only way to heaven is met with the reply, “You have your truth and I have my truth”? With one sentence, the Christian witness is cut off at the knees and the authority of Scripture is minimized.

The remains of our beloved deceased hostages also start coming in. They’re late and the delivery is sporadic, but at least it’s something.
