Tehran taps run dry as water crisis deepens across Iran

Iran is grappling with its worst water crisis in decades, with officials warning that Tehran, a city of more than 10 million, may soon be uninhabitable if the drought gripping the country continues.

President Masoud Pezeshkian has cautioned that if rainfall does not arrive by December, the government must start rationing water in Tehran.

“Even if we do ration and it still does not rain, then we will have no water at all. They (citizens) have to evacuate Tehran,” Pezeshkian said on November 6.

Australia’s rental market becomes the unwilling testing ground for digital national ID system

In a move that critics warn is a trojan horse for unprecedented state control, the Australian government is quietly transforming the nation’s rental market into a live-fire testing ground for its expansive digital identity system. Under the banner of convenience and security, a new federal pilot program will soon require prospective tenants to use a Digital ID and share their financial data through a government-backed framework. This initiative, announced by Finance Minister Katy Gallagher and Home Affairs Minister Clare O’Neil, represents a fundamental shift in the relationship between citizen and state, leveraging one of life’s most stressful necessities—finding a home—to normalize a system of digital authentication that promises to become inescapable.

The Emerging Problem of “AI Psychosis”

As more people turn to AI chatbots for emotional support and even as their therapists, a new and urgent concern is emerging at the intersection of AI and mental health: “AI psychosis” or “ChatGPT psychosis.”

100-Year-Old Veteran on Live TV: We Fought WW2 for Nothing, Britain Less Free Than in 1945

Royal Navy and Arctic Convoy veteran Alec Penstone told Britain’s ITV breakfast show “the sacrifice wasn’t worth” what the country has since become, mourning the loss of freedom he and his friends fought and died for.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain on Friday for a segment on the upcoming Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day on November 11th, Penstone was asked what the events commemorating fallen troops from the two World Wars meant, and what his message to the country now is. Far from the feel-good sentiments the piece had evidently been set up for, 100-year-old Penstone remarked: “I can see in my mind’s eye those rows and rows of white stones.

Israel Strikes an Alleged Hezbollah Weapons Depot in Southern Lebanon: ‘Enforcement of the Ceasefire’

The Lebanese Army insisted it has been working hard to disarm Hezbollah and complained the Israeli strikes were making its job more difficult.

The Israeli military issued civilian evacuation warnings for five different locations before the attacks, instructing local residents to stay at least 500 meters away from the targeted buildings. Lebanese civil defense officials cooperated with the evacuations. The airstrikes began about an hour after the warnings were issued.

Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency (NNA) said an unidentified man was killed and eight others wounded during Israel’s strikes on the town of Toura on Thursday. Another man was reportedly injured in a strike on the town of Tayr Debba.

Trump Says America Is at Crossroads of ‘Communism and Common Sense’ After Mamdani’s Win

Trump weighed in on Mamdani’s win and the choice now facing America during his remarks at the America Business Forum in the afternoon.

“After last night’s results, the decision facing all Americans could not be more clear. We have a choice between communism and common sense,” he said.

Mamdani bested former Gov. Andrew Cuomo (I-NY) and Republican Curtis Sliwa on his way to victory Tuesday in the Big Apple.

“And you know, you take a look, look back 1000 years, [communism] hasn’t worked. If it worked, we’d be using it, I guess. But it hasn’t worked. Our opponents are offering an economic nightmare. We’re delivering an economic miracle,” Trump said, touting the record rapid investment that has been pledged since he took office.

Tom Brady Alters Circle Of Life, Clones His Dog

Tom Brady didn’t just defeat teams in pursuit of his seven Super Bowls; he’s apparently defeated death.

Let me explain. Tom Brady cloned his dead dog Lua, who died in 2023, and with the help of Colossal Biosciences, the legendary quarterback has a new member of the pack, Junie, who obviously looks just like Luna.

“A few years ago, I worked with Colossal and leveraged their non-invasive cloning technology through a simple blood draw of our family’s elderly dog before she passed,” Brady said in the statement shared with The Daily Wire by Colossal. “In a few short months, Colossal gave my family a second chance with a clone of our beloved dog.”
