A former ethics professor filed suit against the University of Arizona after the university fired him for opposing his children’s school district policies on promoting gender ideology to students without parental knowledge or consent.

Daniel Grossenbach, a Christian father, expressed his views against policies that promote gender ideology at Catalina Foothills School District (CFSD) board meetings. Some of the district’s policies include permitting teachers to ask children about their sexual preferences and desires in surveys and allowing teachers to promote gender ideology to students without parental knowledge.

Children’s minds are now officially in the crosshairs of one of the most out-of-control state governments in America. Under a controversial new measure just signed into law by far-left Governor J.B. Pritzker, government schools in Illinois will begin mandatory “mental health” testing of all students each year, starting in 3rd grade.

Critics are sounding the alarm. Among other concerns, they are warning that Big Brother cannot be trusted to pry into the minds of children. From education leaders and privacy advocates to psychiatrists and medical professionals, opponents of the plan say it will intrude into the most sensitive areas of a child’s life.

I, for one, am thankful for the Trump administration’s successful effort to overturn Roe V. Wade. But as we anti-abortionists have said all along, that was only the start of the battle to end abortion.

Abortion regulations were ended on the federal level, and power was transferred back to the states. Many states, in response, automatically triggered pro-life protections. But as Family Research Council President Tony Perkins recently pointed out in June, these laws are being actively and almost entirely circumvented by mailing abortion pills to women, often over state lines.

A Chinese technology company has announced bold plans to release what it calls the world’s first gestation robot–a humanoid machine designed to carry a baby in an artificial womb embedded within its abdomen.

Kaiwa Technology, based in Guangzhou, says the prototype will be ready within a year and could hit the market by 2026 at a price below 100,000 yuan (around $13,900). Founder Zhang Qifeng, who is also affiliated with Nanyang Technological University, presented the project at the 2025 World Robot Conference in Beijing, where it sparked widespread debate over science, ethics, and human dignity.

Overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, NATO scrambled two German warplanes after Russia launched missiles and drones at a Ukrainian city near the border with Romania, a NATO member.

The Russian missiles and drones targeted an area less than a mile from Romania’s border, Fox News reported. The Romanian government said that two German Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft were flown out “to monitor the air situation” as part of NATO’s Enhanced Air Policing. No Russian missiles or drones crossed over into NATO territory.

A U.S. district judge appointed by former President Bill Clinton temporarily blocked a new Texas law for some school districts on Wednesday, preventing them from being required to display the Ten Commandments in classrooms.

Texas Senate Bill 10 (S.B. 10) was signed into law by Republican Governor Greg Abbott in June. It stated, “a public elementary or secondary school shall display in a conspicuous place in each classroom of the school a durable poster or framed copy of the Ten Commandments.”
