Switzerland’s highest court has ruled that a mother and father must facilitate their daughter’s gender transition or face criminal charges, The Daily Wire has learned.

The Swiss Federal Supreme Court (Schweizerisches Bundesgericht) rejected an appeal from the parents, who argued that both the Swiss Federal Constitution and international law protected their right to protect their daughter from a sex change, according to ADF International, the legal group backing the parents. Outside the United States Supreme Court this week, the 66-year-old actress made the comments while speaking to proponents of transgender surgeries on children while justices heard oral arguments in United States v. Jonathan Skrmetti, a case dealing with Tennessee’s law banning irreversible gender transition procedures for children. Bening’s child, Stephen, is a trans-identifying female.

EAGLE PASS, Texas — Cases of Dengue fever are rising along the Texas-Mexico border with rates in the Lone Star State reaching levels not seen in more than two decades. In Mexico, hospitalizations and deaths from complications of the virus are also on the rise.

Despite the proximity of border cities in Mexico and Texas, the rates of contagion with the Dengue virus differ significantly. In Mexico, rates of infection and deaths from the mosquito-borne virus are significantly higher.

South Korean Yoon Suk-yeol stunned the world on Tuesday morning by declaring a state of “emergency martial law” because “subversive, anti-state elements” among the opposition are blocking his agenda.

Martial law has not been declared in South Korea since it emerged from military dictatorship in the 1980s.

“I declare martial law to protect the Republic of Korea from the threats of North Korean communist forces, to immediately eradicate the unscrupulous pro-Pyongyang anti-state forces that pillage the freedom and happiness of our people and to protect free constitutional order,” Yoon said in an emergency press conference from his office in Seoul.

Marysville’s Edgewood Elementary School is offering the Satanic Temple’s Hellion Academy of Independent Learning (HAIL) program beginning this month. This decision was made after a parent reached out to the Satanic Temple, asking for a program at the school. According to WCMH, June Everett, described as a “campaign director for the After School Satan Club and an ordained minister for the Satanic Temple,” claimed the “programs for students are only implemented when parents seek them out, and only in districts where other release programs are already in place.”

For only the second time in their 41-year marriage, Calvin and Trish Zastrow will be spending Thanksgiving apart. The first time was due to travel — this time it’s because Cal is serving a six-month prison sentence over a peaceful protest at a Tennessee abortion facility in 2021.

Zastrow was convicted earlier this year on FACE Act-related charges brought by the Biden administration after he prayed, sang hymns, and sat in front of the door to the entrance of an abortion facility in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. Calling from the Federal Correctional Institute Thomson in Illinois this week, Zastrow told The Daily Wire he was doing “absolutely fantastic.”

An Indian migrant testified that he smuggled more than 500 other India nationals across the U.S.-Canada border during a four-year period. Despite making more than $400,000 in his role in the smuggling operation, the man will be allowed to remain and work in the U.S. in exchange for his testimony.

Rajinder Singh, 51, testified that he participated in a human smuggling scheme that brought more than 500 Indian migrants across the U.S. northern border, the Associated Press reported. Singh said the migrants paid up to $100,000 each for movement along the smuggling trail leading from the Gujarat state in India to the Canadian border with the U.S.

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has called for death sentences for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli leaders, in response to the International Criminal Court’s (ICC) recent arrest warrants.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei made his remarks on Monday during an event addressing members of the Basij, the volunteer force of Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard.

In his speech, Khamenei referred to the ICC’s recent decision to issue arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Israel’s former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
