Sin And The Days Of Unleavened Bread – Revisited

Mr. John Durrad    03-31-2018  (from 04-13-2012)   1st Day FDUB –  PM Service

We have been given this wonderful physical festival to help us in the process of spiritual deleavening. As we not only avoid eating leaven this week, but replace it with unleavened bread, so we must also avoid sin and unrighteousness, and replace it with obedience, sincerity and truth.

I Believe

Mr. Robert Ardis            06-10-2017   (from 07-12-2014)

God is not a respecter of persons, nor does He lie. It is then important for us to consider what we believe. We believe that we must live by every word of God, thereby seeking God’s kingdom and the promises of God. Noah, Daniel and Job have been mentioned specifically in the bible for their righteousness. Ten acts of righteousness and related scriptures are presented.

Renewing Your Covenant

Mr. Gerry Ardis  03-05-2016

This sermon looks in the bible for examples of Abraham’s obedience to God and how this relates to each of us individually in our own individual path to be God’s pillars. According to our obedience to God comes both blessings and cursings. God changes not, nor will His promises to those who obey Him.

How Well Do You Know God?

Mr. John Durrad       10-10-2015

Everything is worthless compared to knowing God. God is omnipresent (everywhere at once), omnipotent (all powerful), and omniscient (all knowing). We get to know Him by frequent contact with Him and with our brethren. Through prayer, bible study, meditation and fasting, we acquire and are able to use the mind of God in all we do. Building a relationship with God requires love, commitment, trust and obedience to God’s laws.

Repent and Sin No More – FDOB – PM Service

Mr. John Durrad      04-04-2015

Sinning shows a monumental disrespect to God! We must learn to hate sin as God does. Sin waits to destroy us, but we can put away sin if we desire to do so. Do we have Godly sorrow or worldly sorrow for our sins? Conversion is not just agreeing with church doctrine but turning our life over to God and making changes in what we are. The only way to be righteous is to hate sin as God does.

Evening of the Passover

Mr. John Durrad     03-14-2015

The first Passover was a matter of life or death. The new covenant Passover is a unique ceremony that needs to be taken with great care and understanding of the meaning behind it. It needs to be taken worthily, at the correct time and in the correct manner. It’s a big deal. We must keep it according to God’s instructions in the bible, and not by man’s traditions and deceptions.
