Three Words – Revisited

Mr. Robert Ardis  12-21-2019  (from 06-01-2013)

We are called (invited), and chosen (selected) by the Father, but must remain faithful (trustworthy, sure and true). Numerous scriptures show us how we as the church (wife) are to make ourselves ready for Christ’s return.  The seven spirits of God are also discussed. These are: 1) Love – God is love, 2) Life – only God can give life, 3) Truth – true knowledge and wisdom can only come from God, 4) Power – God is the source of all power to create and sustain everything, 5) Knowledge – God is all knowing (omniscient), 6) Righteousness – God is full of the holy spirit and the fruits of the holy spirit, and 7) Glory – All glory stems from God, is of God, and for God.

Conquer Your Fears – Revisited

Mr. John Durrad  01-26-2019  (from 12-26-2009)

In this world, the minds of mankind is enslaved to fears. Fear can be managed if we learn to conquer our fears. We need to fear the Eternal. In doing so we will gain wisdom and knowledge that will conquer our fears.

Seven steps to conquer fear:

  1. Faith. Start with faith in God. We cannot fear God properly without faith in Him.
  2. Knowledge. Clean up our character by developing all the fruits of the Spirit.
  3. Temperance. Master temperance (self control) in all things in order to have proper control over mind and body.
  4. Patience. Develop broadness of mind by waiting for results under trial, the opposite of worrying.
  5. Godliness. Desire to be like God in character.
  6. Brotherly kindness. Decide not to be lukewarm by striving for brotherly kindness through the mastery of the fruits of the Spirit.
  7. Add love to brotherly kindness. Love is the perfection of God’s laws according to their spiritual intent. Love is directed away from self.
