Mr. Gerry Ardis    12-16-2023   (from 07-27-2019)

Many are called but few are chosen. Are you called AND CHOSEN? This sermon gives a Biblical explanation of the difference between being just called, and being called AND CHOSEN. It also contains a review of Herbert W. Armstrong’s – Seven Laws of Success.

Three Words – Revisited

Mr. Robert Ardis  12-21-2019  (from 06-01-2013)

We are called (invited), and chosen (selected) by the Father, but must remain faithful (trustworthy, sure and true). Numerous scriptures show us how we as the church (wife) are to make ourselves ready for Christ’s return.  The seven spirits of God are also discussed. These are: 1) Love – God is love, 2) Life – only God can give life, 3) Truth – true knowledge and wisdom can only come from God, 4) Power – God is the source of all power to create and sustain everything, 5) Knowledge – God is all knowing (omniscient), 6) Righteousness – God is full of the holy spirit and the fruits of the holy spirit, and 7) Glory – All glory stems from God, is of God, and for God.

You Understand

Mr. Gerry Ardis       08-10-2019

This is a measuring sermon on how your faith is today. We must keep growing in faith on a daily basis. We know that:

  1. Under Worldwide Church of God the work of going to the world with the Gospel was finished by HWA. (Mat 24:14) and (Zec 4:9)
  2. HWA was the end–time Elijah (Mal 3:1)
  3. The “great falling away” has occurred and the “Man of sin” has been revealed. (2Th 2: 2-4)
  4. The Day of the Lord and the Day of the Lord’s wrath are two completely separate events. (Mat 24:36-37),(1Th 5:2), (Mal 3:18), (2 Pet 3:10,12,13), and  (Rev 1:7), (Rev 5:17), (Is 63:4)  We must be called, chosen and faithful!

The Faithful In Jesus Christ – Revisited

Mr John Durrad   01-05-2019  (from 01-08-2007)

We all must realize that new revealed truth  did not cease with the death of HWA.  God’s has a certain time and plan for new truth to be revealed. Pre-conceived ideas can slow us down in the understanding of new truths. We must accept new truth when there is evidence in the bible for it.  We need to remain faithful. Revealed truth will come to those that are willing to submit. We must continue to be more like God who is perfect.

One example of new truth in the CGF is that spirits CAN die:

  1. With God ALL things are possible (Mat 19: 23-26)
  2. The wages of sin is DEATH, but the gift of God is eternal life (Rom 6:23, Eze 28: 16)
  3. Satan will be ashes under our feet (Eze 28:17-19)
  4. Righteous angels and we who remain faithful will have eternal life (Luk 20:35-36, Mar 12:25)
  5. Jesus DIED! (Mat 16:21), Mat 27:35, 50)
  6. It’s LOGICAL: Why would God keep evil angels and humans in perpetual torment when there is no need for them to exist. God is a merciful God!
