Herbert W. Armstrong searched diligently for the foundation of truth in the Bible, through the mind of Christ working within him. HWA knew that the true church would keep ALL the commandments of God. HWA also knew that the true church would be identified by TRUTH. The CGF is identified as the true church of God, by more than 100 new truths, that can be supported by the bible.

The first Passover was a matter of life or death. The new covenant Passover is a unique ceremony that needs to be taken with great care and understanding of the meaning behind it. It needs to be taken worthily, at the correct time and in the correct manner. It’s a big deal. We must keep it according to God’s instructions in the bible, and not by man’s traditions and deceptions.

Examination of our covenant with God at baptism is reviewed. How we come before God at the Passover is a vital element to the eventual completion of that covenant.

We must be diligent in seeking God and putting Him first. Would Jesus give us a good or a poor report? We must ask ourselves two questions. 1) Am I more righteous this year than last year? 2) If Passover was in 30 minutes would I be spiritually prepared for it?

Christ came suddenly to His temple on Trumpets 1997 to find His spiritual temple split and splintered. Once the full number of pillars is discerned by Christ, His power and authority will be manifested in His church. We need to be ever alert to the fact that all in the world is peripheral to the soon coming of the kingdom of God!

A way to prove God’s one true church is needed again. What if dissident information is new truth from God? Are we prepared to welcome new doctrine in obedience with God? God’s true church will always be set apart by truth. New knowledge in the bible is new truth revealed by God’s spirit.

The CGF has been given His secrets: 1) The Day of the Lord, how He has already returned in spirit to discern, and how this day is different from the Day of the Lord’s wrath, 2) the knowledge that spirits can die, and 3) the knowledge of God’s 144,000 Firstfruits and His plan for mankind.
