In today’s society there are many things in place so that we do not have to wait and this has resulted in a society of impatient people. Are we in the CGF waiting correctly on God and living the way God wants us to? We must do our part to be wise, keep in the forefront of our minds the truths we have been given, and studying to show ourselves approved God’s way.
Mr. Gerry Ardis 08-12-2023
God reveals His secrets to His prophets and we often read familiar scriptures. It is wise to meditate on these scriptures using the Holy Spirit and then examine ourselves by them. We must optimize our time while there is time to do so.

Love is of God and He loved us first! We need to develop the same love of God which is in Christ. In order to do this we need wisdom first in order to give the proper kind of love.

Mr. John Durrad 07-22-2023 (from 02-13-2016)
We must love our neighbor, but just how do we do this as God commands us to do? We must realize that we cannot truly love our neighbor without God’s help. Membership in God’s family is available for everyone. God puts Himself in the place of our neighbor in Matthew 25:37. Therefore we need to be careful in how we treat others. Our aim should be to treat others as we would like to be treated.
Mr. Robert Ardis 07-15-2023 (from 08-11-2018)
We must keep in our mind that we have the ability to be heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ. Even though we must learn through suffering to attain this inheritance. Righteousness comes by faith, courage is faith in action and vision is a product of faith.
Mr. John Durrad 07-08-2023 (from 07-18-2020)
Faith is built on knowledge and experience. We walk by faith, not by sight. We build faith by believing and doing. God wants us to have faith and the power of His Spirit. Faith has nothing to do with our feelings. Our faith must be a living faith! Living faith is: a) confidence we have in God’s Word, b) confidence that God never lies, c) confidence that even in sore trials God wants the best for us, and d) confidence that the good things we hope for, we shall obtain, because God says so.
Mr. Gerry Ardis 07-01- 2023 (from 06-30-2018)
God has used those who have fallen away to teach us something about our spiritual life e.g. 1) How is my prayer life?, 2) How is my bible study?, 3) What do I meditate upon?, 4) When was the last time I fasted? This sermon addresses our prayer life using the Lord’s Prayer as an outline for us to follow.
Mr. Jon Ardis 06-10-2023 (from 08-20-2016)
For our obedience God promises us magnificent blessings in the future. What standard are we using to measure our present blessings? Are we viewing them from a physical perspective or from a spiritual perspective? God knows what He is doing with us individually and for His church. We need to continue putting God and His kingdom first and all blessings will be given to us.
