It is important for each of us to be in a Passover attitude and to get ourselves ready. We must heed Luke 21:34-36 in our daily lives. We must ask ourselves what our spiritual strengths and weaknesses are. If the Passover was this week would we be spiritually ready to take it?

Bitterness can be deceptive and destructive (Eph 4:30-31). Once a root of bitterness takes hold it is difficult to shake off. We must put on the whole armour of God to resist developing a root of bitterness, which is of the flesh and not of the spirit. Steps to avoid a root of bitterness is presented.

The CGF has a two-fold commission; (1) to go to Laodicea and (2) to measure ourselves. Longsuffering was required by God’s people in the past and is required now to fulfil our commission.

It has been 37 years since the death of Herbert W. Armstrong. The holy days picture God’s plan for mankind but do not specify all the details. Jesus is the Door to all truth. Only Christ can remove any blindness/misconceptions that exist, and provide a clear path forward for the work that He has for His church now. Thoughts discussed include discussion about: the Synagogue of Satan, the Four Horsemen, the Seven Seals, and the work of the Two Witnesses.

Reconciliation of the lunar months and solar years is explained. God gave us His calendar so we can keep His prescribed days at the correct times. We trust the accuracy of the Hebrew calendar because God said the Jews would preserve it, and His Word is sure.

We should be “hot” for God by 1) regaining our “first love” for God’s truth and work, 2) keep ourselves from developing the attitudes of this world, 3) obey God in order to be delivered out of trials, 4) do not let love and compassion grow cold.

Tithing teaches man obedience to God. We have a spiritual ministry of salvation today and we are commanded to give tithes and offerings for God’s work. First, second and third tithes are discussed and how they are to be used. Tithe of the tithe and free will offerings are also addressed. We must strive to make our investments an Eternal one!
