Christ will present His church to Himself without spot or blemish Eph 5:27. This sermon discusses how the old covenant contract with Israel was physical in nature, and how the new covenant contract for us today is spiritual in nature with much greater promises.

2) The great falling away from the Worldwide Church of God has already occurred,
3) The Day of the Lord has come as a “thief in the night”,
4) The Abomination of Desolation (not the Pope) is standing in the holy place (not Jerusalem) now and,
5) God’s people are advised to flee now to the mountains (God’s true church)

We need to praise God continually, and reflect on how He has helped us in our lives, and that He will help us in the present and into the future. God changes not! (Mal 3:6 and Heb 13:8)

We all must realize that new revealed truth did not cease with the death of HWA. God’s has a certain time and plan for new truth to be revealed. Pre-conceived ideas can slow us down in the understanding of new truths. We must accept new truth when there is evidence in the bible for it. We need to remain faithful. Revealed truth will come to those that are willing to submit. We must continue to be more like God who is perfect.

Why and how must we contend for the truth now? We must know the truth and explain how it can be proved through the bible when asked. To contend for the truth we must be able to: 1) Prove it, 2) Know it, 3) Hold fast to it, 4) Live by it, 5) Fight for it.
