Tools Of A Christian

Mr. John Durrad    10-20-2012

It is a waste for us not to use all of the tools of a Christian that God has given to us. These are prayer, bible study, meditation and fasting. How we can best use these tools is the topic for today’s sermon. We need to keep these tools sharp as the days of Christ’s soon coming gets closer. Not to do so runs the risk of neglecting our salvation.

God’s Protection

Mr. Wallace Lawton  10-05-2012

Christ’s mission is to fight our battles, however, His protection is conditional. This is demonstrated by the five prerequisites stipulated in this sermon. We need to take advantage of this promise and meet these prerequisites so as to prevent suffering, because Christ who gives us deliverance as our Saviour fights our battles.

These five pre-requisites are:

  1. Obey the laws of God – Be righteous, hang onto the truth and don’t depart from it.
  2. Ask God daily for His protection – ask for right things in the right manner.
  3. Never tempt God  – make wise spiritual and physical decisions in order to prevent trouble, and do our part using wisdom.
  4. Exercise faith – diligently seek God knowing that He will do what He says He will do.
  5. In everything give thanks – thank God in advance, and give God thanks for our daily blessings.

To Make A Difference

Mr. Robert Ardis    08-25-2012

We have a special calling to make a difference. We must be faithful to God, and be prepared to do whatever it takes to keep His laws and finish His work. Meditate on possible “fiery furnaces” that we might face and how we will handle them. Time is short, and NOW we must prove ourselves worthy to stand before Christ as His bride. There are no excuses. Closeness to God is essential.

Crisis Point

Mr. Robert Ardis    07-07-2012

We are to be learning new truth from the Word of God (2Pet.3:18). This is the identifying sign of the true Church (Jn.17:17). HWA completed the commission to build the spiritual temple and to take the gospel to the world. Now the commission of the true Church is to issue the Midnight Cry, warning the scattered churches of God to come to where the Bridegroom is, because the time is at hand.

Understanding The Meaning Of The Feast

Mr. John Durrad     05-10-2012

Mankind needs to be creative and active. Few today understand the meaning that God has for mankind as evident in the Feast. The Feast  is a time of rejuvenation where we are inspired to do more, and renew our personal dedication and commitment to get closer to God.

History And Prophesy

Mr. Robert Ardis    05-05-2012

As we count down towards Pentecost, we should heed the warnings of the Bible, both with regard to the history of the ancient Israelites, and also the prophecies of Ezekiel and others about what happens to God’s people when they turn from him and ignore His commandments.

Numbering Our Days

Mr. Wallace Lawton   04-21-2012

Our lives are very short as indicated in many bible scriptures. This is a warning message for the “awake virgins” that we must be ready. Each day draws us closer to the last Trumpet, the beast power, and our rewards as Kings/Priests in the World Tomorrow if we are considered worthy by God. We MUST have our priorities in order by making each day a prep day for Christ’s physical return.

Sin And The Days Of Unleavened Bread

Mr. John Durrad   04-13-2012

We have been given this wonderful physical festival to help us in the process of spiritual deleavening. As we not only avoid eating leaven this week, but replace it with unleavened bread, so we must also avoid sin and unrighteousness, and replace it with obedience, sincerity and truth.

Forget Not His Benefits

Mr. Robert Ardis        04-07-2012    First Day Of Unleavened Bread 2012

During the days of Unleavened Bread we practice walking with God and keeping sin out of our lives. We can look at the many benefits we receive through doing this, and the wonderful blessings we receive from God, both now and in the future.

Now Is The Hour

Mr. Gerry Ardis   04-07-2012    First Day Of Unleavened Bread 2012

This week we keep leaven out of our houses and sin out of our lives as we strive to become perfect like Christ. Jesus Christ faced His hour when, through His obedience and suffering, He glorified God and was glorified in turn. Our hour is now upon us, and this same glory will be our reward.
