Mr. John Durrad 10-03-2016 Feast of Trumpets – PM Service
It’s good to be on God’s side on Trumpets. Our job is to cry out and to pray earnestly for a response. Isaiah 58:1 Is the gathering of the lost sheep to commence? How does one recognize the true church? Miracles, signs and wonders alone do not identify the true church unless accompanied by truth from the Word of God. Christ’s plans stand as to when He will return. We need to keep focused on Christ’s soon coming.
Mr. Gerry Ardis 10-03-2016 Feast of Trumpets – AM Service
Trumpets is a pivotal holy day in God’s plan of salvation. A 19 year time cycle has been completed since Trumpets 1997 when the Day of the Lord began “as a thief in the night”. Now with Trumpets 2016 is the beginning of another 19 year time cycle. Does Trumpets 2016 mark: 1) the end of Christ’s spiritual discernment of who His pillar members are, 2) who is “worthy to escape” the Tribulation, 3) the beginning of the 1335 days, and 4) the beginning of the Midnight Cry ?
Mr. Jon Ardis 10-01-2016
It is time for each of us to reflect before the Feast of Trumpets about our spiritual lives. Are we ready and what are we ready for? Four questions are addressed for each of us, to consider and act upon now, so that nothing will be able to separate us from God!
Mr. Robert Ardis 09-24-2016 (from 07-25-2015)
This time may be a prelude to designed trials for us. All of the building blocks of the spiritual temple have been called, the 144,000 firstfruits. How many of the called and chosen through the ages have remained faithful? We must hold fast and endure to the end believing in God’s Word, even when God’s Word provides an unpopular message to the world.
Mr. Robert Ardis 09-17-2016 (from 08-25-2012)
We have a special calling to make a difference. We must be faithful to God, and be prepared to do whatever it takes to keep His laws and finish His work. Meditate on possible “fiery furnaces” that we might face and how we will handle them. Time is short, and NOW we must prove ourselves worthy to stand before Christ as His bride. There are no excuses. Closeness to God is essential.
Mr. John Durrad 09-10-2016
We all need to seek more genuine spiritual-mindedness in order to retain and build on our first love of God’s truth. Seven practical points to remain and grow in spiritual-mindedness is discussed.
Mr. Gerry Ardis 09-03-2016
The CGF celebrates 19 years of Sabbath services. Discussed are topics of the first service of the CGF in 1997, foundation truths of the CGF that we have heard, that are proven by the bible, and need our review.
Mr. Jon Ardis 08-20-2016
For our obedience God promises us magnificent blessings in the future. What standard are we using to measure our present blessings? Are we viewing them from a physical perspective or from a spiritual perspective? God knows what He is doing with us individually and for His church. We need to continue putting God and His kingdom first and all blessings will be given to us.
Mr. John Durrad 08-13-2016
Christians cannot procrastinate but need to develop the art of “do it now”. The bible is full of verses about procrastination, the thief of time. We need to avoid six pitfalls of procrastination in order to grow to be a wise and profitable servant for God, and to grow spiritually and benefit physically.
