Jesus is the living Word of God and the bible is the written Word of God. Numerous scriptures are described that prove this. The 12 of the fruits of the spirit describe the attitude/mind of Jesus. Courage/bravery is “dynamic faith in action”. Any words similar to courage would be covered under the fruit of righteousness which we must all continue to strive towards.

The identification signs of the True Church of God is new Truth. There have been 120 new truths given to the CGF since the Day of the Lord began in 1997. The CGF also keeps God’s Sabbath days, the Holy Days and the Beginning of Months, as these are ordained forever for spiritual Israel. This year in 2014 at Trumpets we will be entering into the 18th year of a 19 year time cycle. Could the crippled woman of Luke 13:10-17 represent the scattered churches being freed from bondage?

Spirit of Righteousness

All God’s commandments are righteousness. We are to become Pillars with specific roles in God’s coming kingdom. In order to fulfill our roles, we need to exercise our senses to determine good and evil. Not only the physical but the spiritual aspects of the ten commandments are always in effect. We must examine both our strengths and weaknesses and grow up into Christ in all things.

Self Control

Self-control is an important attribute of the Father and Christ. Self control over our actions, feelings and impulses can be difficult, but it needs to be a way of life. The whole creation growns with us, and for the self-control we will demonstrate as Firstfruits

 

The Meek And Lowly Of Heart

Christ as a human being did not sin and provided us with a perfect example of all of the fruits of the Spirit. He came to serve, not to be served. A remarkable fact is that Jesus was not self-confident but realized that without the Father He could do nothing. Conversion is a growth process. We must be receptive to instruction, learn from suffering and develop meekness in order to follow Christ’s example.

Faith

As one of “the weightier matters of the law,” faith is complete confidence in God, and without it we cannot please Him. It is a shield against all fiery darts, i.e., trials and temptations. It gives us power, and is a requirement for forgiveness of our sins. We are commanded to have faith and not to doubt.
