Paris is burning. Over the weekend, one of the great cities of Western civilization was overrun by thousands of rioters who used a victory by a French soccer team as an excuse to wreak havoc. They burned cars, attacked police, and looted businesses. At least one person was killed, and over 200 more were injured. The flames even reached the base of the Eiffel Tower.<\/p>\n
