Family Research Council has compiled 1,384 acts of \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.frc.org\/issueanalysis\/hostility-against-churches-is-on-the-rise-in-the-united-states\">Hostility against Churches in the United States<\/a>\u201d from 2018 through 2024, and these latest attacks only extend that trend. \u201cThis is a reflection, really, of what Paul wrote about in Second Thessalonians [2:7],\u201d\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/rumble.com\/v70lxdy-20251021-b-block-mark-harris.html\">declared<\/a>\u00a0FRC President Tony Perkins on \u201cWashington Watch,\u201d where Paul writes that \u201cthe mystery of lawlessness is already at work.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Both churches\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/wisenewsnetwork.com\/stories\/suspected-arson-investigation-ongoing-in-casar-nc,4140\">sustained<\/a>\u00a0minor damage to the buildings\u2019 exteriors. At Tabernacle Baptist Church, flames had scorched the siding where a fire had been built against the building\u2019s side handicap entrance.
