And\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/notthebee.com\/article\/this-video-from-the-evangelical-lutheran-church-in-americas-national-meeting-lists-all-of-the-scriptures-that-harmfully-advance-sexism-and-patriarchy?from_social=twitter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a recent video<\/a>\u00a0from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America is one of those videos as an ELCA spokeswoman claims that numerous verses of Scripture are \u201charmful\u201d to women and girls but, not to worry, we can just not take those verses literally!<\/p>\n<p>Using wording from a 2019\u00a0church\u00a0document, she says:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe Christian tradition is both a challenge and a resource when it comes to addressing sexism. And, let me tell ya, it\u2019s been a big challenge.\u00a0.\u00a0.\u00a0.
