The controversial bill, HB2827, also known as The Homeschool Act, was approved this week by the Illinois House of Representatives\u2019 Education Policy Committee in an 8-4 party-line vote, with one member voting \u201cpresent.\u201d The legislation now moves forward to a full floor vote.<\/p>\n
