The Congressional-Executive Commission on China (CECC) held a\u00a0hearing<\/a>\u00a0last month, with Representative Chris Smith (R-NJ) and Senator Jeff Merkley (D-OR) \u2014 the chair and co-chair of the commission \u2014 present.
