A man wearing a \u201cJesus Saves\u201d t-shirt was ordered by security to remove his shirt or leave the Mall of America last weekend, according to videos published on social media.<\/p>\n
Some comments online have suggested that the man was eventually allowed to remain in the mall with his shirt on, but the Mall of America refused to provide any context or explanation when contacted by Alpha News.<\/p>\n
The videos show a man talking with a group of three security guards near the mall\u2019s rotunda. One of the videos was livestreamed to Facebook on Jan. 7.<\/p>\n
\u201cJesus is the only way,\u201d the back of the man\u2019s shirt says, with the popular \u201ccoexist\u201d symbol crossed out.<\/p>\n
\u201cJesus is associated with religion and it\u2019s offending people,\u201d a security guard tells the man. \u201cPeople have been offended.\u201d<\/p>\n
They then ask the man to either remove his shirt or leave the mall.<\/p>\n
