Half of the country now thinks America\u2019s moral values are \u201cpoor,\u201d\u00a0Gallup says<\/a>. And the question on most people\u2019s minds must be: What\u2019s wrong with the other 50%? \u201cPoor\u201d suggests that the nation\u2019s moral values register at all \u2014 an assumption this Pride Month is quickly proving wrong.<\/p>\n

When the speaker of the House is strutting the\u00a0Ru Paul catwalk<\/a>, the president is turning America into a welfare state for\u00a0kids\u2019 gender reassignments<\/a>, and\u00a0gay bars<\/a>\u00a0are becoming the latest elementary school hangouts, \u201cmorality\u201d doesn\u2019t exactly spring to mind. But despite cratering poll numbers in the Democrats\u2019 core constituencies \u2014\u00a0blacks<\/a>,\u00a0Hispanics<\/a>,\u00a0suburban women, moms<\/a>, and\u00a0Gen Z<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 the party parades on, seemingly incapable of a course correction.<\/p>\n

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel (D) only dug the hole deeper,\u00a0insisting<\/a>\u00a0that \u201cdrag queens are fun,\u201d and they \u201cmake everything better.\u201d \u201c[You] know what is not a problem for kids who are seeking a good education? Drag queens,\u201d Nessel argued. \u201cDrag queens are entertainment,\u201d she insisted. \u201cAnd you know what I\u2019ll say that was totally not poll-tested? I\u2019d say this, \u2018A drag queen for every school.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Of course, it\u2019s not the first time a Democrat has suggested the idea. A week ago, California State Senator Scott Weiner decided to play off his brilliant new idea for schools \u2014\u00a0mandatory Drag Queen 101 for K-12<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 as a \u201cjoke,\u201d after sparking national outrage.<\/p>\n
