(CNSNews.com) – A newly released survey from Gallup<\/a> indicates that more Americans think it is morally wrong to wear fur than to experiment with cells taken from dismembered human embryos.<\/p>\n

Gallup asked 1,007 Americans aged 18 and older<\/a> their opinions on the moral acceptability of \u201c19 issues.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked by Gallup<\/a> if they thought \u201cbuying\/wearing clothing made of animal fur\u201d was morally acceptable, 60 percent said that it was and 37 percent said that it was not.<\/p>\n

By contrast, when asked whether they thought medical \u201cresearch using human embryo stem cells\u201d was morally acceptable, 63 percent said that it was and only 32 percent said that it was not.<\/p>\n
