Pope Francis has written a glowing forward to a new book by gay rights activist Father James Martin, calling him a “person who has fallen in love with the Word of God.”
Father Martin is rooted “firmly in the Ignatian tradition,” the pontiff writes in his preface to newly released Italian edition of Come Forth: The Raising of Lazarus and the Promise of Jesus’s Greatest Miracle.
