Bidenomics after 41 Months: Six Charts the Media Don’t Want You to See

Liberal media are declaring Bidenomics a success – but, after three and a half years, hard numbers tell a much different story, regardless of whether the measure is how much Americans are paying, earning or saving.

Gas prices:

While gas prices held steady under Pres. Donald Trump (down four cents a gallon), they’ve surged 48% in the first 41 months of Pres. Joe Biden’s term. From January 2021 to June of 2024, the average price of a gallon of gas (all grades) has increased $1.16, from $2.42 to $3.58, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

Xi Jinping and China: Running Out of Time, Ready to Strike

In recent weeks, China has surged its naval fleet into both surrounding and far away waters.

Most significantly, the People’s Liberation Army Navy sent two strike groups into the South China Sea. The larger, centered on the Shandong aircraft carrier, operated off the main Philippine island of Luzon before transiting into the Western Pacific for blue water flight operations. The other is an Expeditionary Strike Group led by a Type 075 Yushen-class amphibious assault ship, one of China’s largest and most advanced. Four of China’s Type 055 Renhai-class cruisers, described as “the most lethal surface combatant in the world,” escorted the two strike groups.

‘Eco-Theology’: The Latest Departure From The Faith

If I was to use the word “theology”, most Christians would have an accurate understanding of what it means.  However, for the benefit of those who may be unclear, the word is composed of two Greek words: theos (“God”) and logos (“word”).  In the literal sense, the study of theology refers to the study of words about God, specifically the revelation of God through His true and trustworthy Word.  Therefore, the knowledge of God is the goal of theology.

Now, what if I used the word “ecotheology”?  Well, if you want to know more, this is an excerpt from the Harvard Divinity Bulletin: “This course surveys constructive religious reflection, drawn from a variety of religious and spiritual traditions, that is informed by an ecological worldview and accountable to various forms of environmental activism.  In constructing the syllabus, I sought to include constructive or ‘theological’ texts from as many different religious traditions as possible.  As a result, the course functioned as an introduction to comparative theology as well as to the ways people of diverse faiths think about environmental issues.”

Dangerously Misleading: ‘Experts’ Claim Feelings Decide If A Child Is A Boy Or A Girl, Not Genetics

“We can’t know whether a child is a boy or a girl based on their genetics or their anatomy.” Really?

Now, if such a statement leaves you shaking your head, you’re not alone—but that is the argument put forward by two genetic counselors in a recent article that begins by introducing gender reveal parties this way: “Gender reveals are a testament to how society is squeezing children into one of two predetermined gender boxes before they are even born.”

Yes, you can certainly see the authors’ bias right from the beginning of their article!

‘Rolling Surveillance Devices:’ Chinese Self-Driving Cars Are Mapping America

As Chinese companies test their autonomous vehicles on American roads, concerns are growing about the vast amounts of data these “rolling surveillance devices” are collecting and the potential national security implications.

While this may seem like a harmless part of technological advancement, experts are raising alarms about the potential national security risks associated with these vehicles.

Nolte: Portland Power Company Takes Control of Home Thermostats to Avoid Outages

Some 200,000 people in the Portland, Oregon, area have handed control of their home thermostats over to an energy company.

What is there to say about a population willing to hand over control of its thermostats to an energy company instead of demanding its government provide enough energy to keep it comfortable?

These people are gerbils.

I’m sure that in their own deluded minds, they have convinced themselves they are noble and virtuous by making this sacrifice for the good of Mother Earth, but that’s simply not true. Mother Earth is fine and will remain fine even if Democrats decide to exit the Dark Ages and join the Age of Enlightenment where there’s more than enough energy for everything and everyone.

Indonesia: Officials force congregation to stop wedding, ban Christian worship services

SURABAYA, INDONESIA — Local officials in Indonesia stopped a wedding ceremony and banned the church from further worship meetings at the site, sources said.

Last Sunday, in Mergosari, Tarik District, Sidoarjo Regency of Java island, village head Eko Budi Santoso halted the wedding at the Pentecostal Church in Indonesia (Gereja Pentekosta di Indonesia, or GPdI) site and banned them from meeting, claiming the congregation lacked a building permit and that area residents opposed their church, local media reported.

Area residents in the Muslim-majority country reportedly said they were not opposed to the presence of the church worshiping at the “House of Prayer,” a structure that doesn’t have the function and markings of a church building.

Satellite photos show Iran expanding missile production, sources say

Images reveal significant expansions at key Iranian ballistic missile facilities, boosting missile and drone production to support Russia, Houthis and Hezbollah, raising concerns for US and Israel about Tehran’s increased missile capabilities

Recent satellite imagery shows major expansions at two key Iranian ballistic missile facilities that two American researchers assessed are for boosting missile production, a conclusion confirmed by three senior Iranian officials.

The enlargement of the sites follows an October 2022 deal in which Iran agreed to provide missiles to Russia, which has been seeking them for its war against Ukraine. Tehran also supplies missiles to Yemen’s Houthi rebels and the Lebanese militia Hezbollah, both members of the Iran-backed Axis of Resistance against Israel, according to U.S. officials.
