Young sacrifice belief in God on altar of Satanism

“With our rituals, there’s never any murder, there’s never any sacrifice, there’s never any blood rites to Satan. We don’t worship the devil. We don’t cast magic spells…”

In fact, as the Global Order of Satan UK – as well as other leaders and members of Satanic groups around the world insist – it would be difficult to spot a Satanist walking down the street.

Yet while the macabre occult rituals, virgin sacrifices, chalices of blood and belief in the actual Devil are a thing of the past, Satanism is luring increasing numbers of young people disillusioned with “outdated” and “dogmatic” traditional religions to join its fold by offering an “alternative” to “stuffy”, traditional faiths.

The Sunday Telegraph has spoken to leaders and members of Satanic groups around the world who claim that the opportunities Satanism offers people to engage in activism and campaign on issues such as gender and sexuality is part of the appeal for the younger members, particularly those who are increasingly less likely to declare themselves as Christian.

Chaplain Leopold, a 32-year-old London-based undertaker, co-runs the Global Order of Satan UK which he said has seen a 200 per cent increase in membership over the last five years.

Jesus the Palestinian terrorist and his 72 dark-eyed virgins

One of the many ways in which the Palestinian Authority distorts history in order to invent a centuries-old Palestinian identity, is to turn Jesus the Judean (Jew), who promoted peace on earth, into a Palestinian terrorist who was murdered by the Israelis, thus becoming the first Palestinian “Martyr,” who is now reveling in heaven with Allah, in the arms of 72 dark-eyed virgins.

While the language the PA uses to describe Jesus as a terrorist and as someone enjoying his virgins is less direct, the meaning is the same.

When referring to Palestinian terrorists, the PA calls them “self-sacrificing fighters,” or “fidai”. So, when the PA and its officials use the same terms to describe Jesus, they are in fact saying he is a terrorist.

As Palestinian Media Watch has shown, here, here, here, here, and here, among other places, the definition of Jesus as a terrorist enjoying his virgins is not a fringe idea, but rather one expressed by the highest order in the PA.

‘Animism’ recognizes how animals, places and plants have power over humans – and it’s finding renewed interest around the world

A movement known as “new animism,” which seeks to secure personhood rights for nonhuman beings through legal means, is gaining a following around the globe.

New animist environmental activists are not the only ones using the term. Animism itself has become fashionable. Some spirituality bloggers talk about animism as a way to deepen one’s spiritual relationship to nature. Scholars – from anthropologists to philosophers – have taken a renewed interest in the concept.

Most of these people are using animism in a very general, and inaccurate, way, to mean the belief that everything in nature has a soul. The renewed interest in animism stems from the hope that people will behave in more ecologically sustainable ways if they believe that the natural world around them is alive.

However, as an anthropologist of religion who works with people whose religious practices were traditionally described as animist, I believe the reality is both more interesting and more complicated. Animism is not a religion or even a set of beliefs about nature having a soul. It’s a term used by scholars to classify religious practices through which human beings cultivate relationships with more powerful beings that reside in the world around us.

Church Erases Jesus & Nativity in Christmas Carol, Replaces Them With “Queer” People

“Very important for the new religion to try to wear the skin of the old.”

A church in England has erased references to the nativity and Jesus in a Christmas carol and replaced them with a celebration of “queer” people.

Yes, really.

All Saints with Holy Trinity Church in Loughborough held a Mayor’s Community Carol Service on Monday.

In a Twitter post, trainee priest Rachael Brind-Surch lauded how the church had changed the lyrics to the classic carol “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” sung by attendees at the event.

‘Worshipping The Creation Rather Than The Creator’: The ‘Climate Crisis’ Is Acting As A Catalyst For A New World Religion

(Queensland, Australia) — Is there a dark side to religious environmentalism?

Between 6 -18th November, the UN climate conference COP27 was held on the Sinai Peninsula in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. What may not be so well-known is that religious leaders from across the three monotheistic faiths signed the Jerusalem Climate Declaration just prior to the climate conference. Their stated aim was to encourage and empower religious communities around the world to curb climate change.

It has been revealed that interfaith leaders also gathered at the conference to call for climate justice and a ceremony of repentance, during which a ‘New Ten Commandments’ was conceived. The organisations responsible for coordinating this were the Elijah Interfaith Institute and its Board of World Religious Leaders; the Interfaith Centre for Sustainable Development (ICSD); the Peace Department (a US non-profit organisation) and climate activist Yosef Abramowitz.

However, the ‘New 10 Commandments’ are not so new: the 10 commandments of climate change were devised some time ago by Pope Francis. An article from 2015 cites the Pope calling for a ‘cultural revolution’ to halt the ‘disturbing warming of our planet’ – the actual document being 184 pages in length. It is no surprise that Pope Francis is a leading voice in promoting the coming together of world religions to address what is widely perceived as an existential crisis: he has always encouraged inter-religious dialogue and collaboration. This was clearly demonstrated in the first-ever Pope Video message on his Monthly Prayer Intentions in 2016, in which he made the assertion that regardless of religion we are all children of God. The video featured representatives of Christianity, Islam, Buddhism and Judaism, all of whom proclaimed their respective beliefs in God, Jesus Christ, Allah and Buddha and who then declared their common belief in love.

Scripture, however, disagrees with the Pope – we are all made in the image of God, but we are not all children of God. In John 1:10-13 we read: “He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own, and His own received Him not. But as many as received him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”

In our times the focus of this interfaith movement appears to be what is commonly termed the climate crisis. One of the plans was to hold a large ceremony of repentance on Jabal Musa, purportedly the biblical Mt. Sinai site. However, only a small group of faith leaders were allowed due to security concerns. As we know Mt. Sinai is a sacred place of revelation: it was the place where God’s Ten Commandments were revealed to Moses and written by the finger of God on two stone tablets.

Prosecutor: Bible passage ‘no longer appropriate in modern society’

In a case against a street preacher charged for speech condemning homosexuality, a government prosecutor in England argued certain Bible passages “are simply no longer appropriate in modern society.”

John Dunn was charged with violating the Public Order Act by engaging in “threatening,” “abusive” and “insulting” speech when he told a lesbian couple that homosexuals will not “inherit the kingdom of heaven,” citing the Bible, the Daily Signal reported.

A prosecutor with the Crown Prosecution Service, the office of government prosecutors for England and Wales, wrote in a document sent to the defense before the trial that “there are references in the bible [sic] which are simply no longer appropriate in modern society and which would be offensive if stated in public.”

The case against Dunn, a 55-year-old British army special forces veteran, was dismissed because the lesbian couple declined to testify.

Census: Christians a minority in England; non-religious grow

Fewer than half the people in England and Wales consider themselves Christian, according to the most recent census — the first time a minority of the population has followed the country’s official religion.

Britain has become less religious — and less white — in the decade since the last census, figures from the 2021 census released Tuesday by the Office for National Statistics revealed.

Some 46.2% of the population of England and Wales described themselves as Christian on the day of the 2021 census, down from 59.3% a decade earlier. The Muslim population grew from 4.9% to 6.5% of the total, while 1.7% identified as Hindu, up from 1.5%.

More than 1 in 3 people — 37% — said they had no religion, up from 25% in 2011.

The other parts of the U.K., Scotland and Northern Ireland, report their census results separately.

Secularism campaigners said the shift should trigger a rethink of the way religion is entrenched in British society. The U.K. has state-funded Church of England schools, Anglican bishops sit in Parliament’s upper chamber, and the monarch is “defender of the faith” and supreme governor of the church.

Mormon Church calls radical same-sex ‘marriage’ bill the ‘best way forward’

While the church said its doctrine on marriage ‘is well known and will remain unchanged,’ it believes the radical so-called Respect for Marriage Act ‘is the best way forward.’

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, long seen as a bulwark for conservative family values, sent out shockwaves Tuesday when it gave its support for radical legislation currently before Congress that would enshrine gay “marriage” into federal law. The affirmation comes despite the church’s previous moves to fight LGBT infiltration in the culture.

The LDS made the declaration in a Tuesday statement published on its official website.

According to the statement, while the church’s doctrine “related to marriage between a man and a woman is well known and will remain unchanged,” it believes the so-called Respect for Marriage Act protecting homosexual unions under federal law “is the best way forward.”

If passed by Congress, the legislation would federally codify a radical redefinition marriage at odds with all major religions. Catholic bishops, including San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone and Bishop Joseph Strickland of Tyler, Texas — along with leading conservative organizations — have warned the measure would pave the way for discrimination against Christians and others who support the traditional understanding of marriage.

As LifeSiteNews has reported, bipartisan carveouts for religious liberty have focused solely protecting religious nonprofits from being compelled to solemnize or celebrate a same-sex “marriage” opposed with that group’s religious beliefs. Notably lacking is any language shielding Christians or other people of faith who simply reject homosexual unions as a form of “marriage.”

United Methodist Church body elects openly gay bishop in violation of its rules: ‘Inmates running the asylum’

The UMC Book of Discipline forbids ordaining ‘self-avowed practicing homosexuals’

A regional body of the United Methodist Church (UMC) voted to elect the denomination’s first openly gay Black bishop last week in violation of its rules prohibiting the ordination of “self-avowed practicing homosexuals.”

The UMC Western Jurisdiction, which encompasses the western U.S. and Alaska, voted to promote Rev. Cedrick D. Bridgeforth of the California-Pacific Conference to the rank of bishop on Nov. 4 after Bridgeforth secured 73 votes out of the 93 cast. He needed 63 votes to win.

Bridgeforth, who is married to another man, said in remarks following his election that he was “grateful to God Almighty” and “to my husband, Christopher.”

“It’s in the church where I have found purpose, even when I felt like it was chewing me up and spitting me out, I still couldn’t let it go,” the new bishop said.
