Will Ben Gvir Consent to Jewish Activists’ Request to Perform Animal Sacrifices on the Temple Mount?

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir’s visit to the Temple Mount on Tuesday caused a flurry of reactions, including widespread international condemnation by world leaders.

The Temple Mount is the holiest site in Judaism—the location of both the First and Second Temples. It is also the third holiest site in Islam and, currently, the plaza houses Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock.

Israel allows Muslims to visit and pray on the Temple Mount, whereas Jews—according to the “the status quo” policy—are only allowed to visit during specific time windows, but not to pray or to perform religious rituals.

In 2006, Ben Gvir joined other activists who were attempting to perform the Passover sacrifice—the ritual slaughter of a one year old male lamb—on the Temple Mount, before they were stopped by the police. The “Returning to the Mount” activist group every year requests permission to perform the ritual sacrifice on the Mount. Every year, their application is rejected.

“This year, in light of the political situation and the formation of a ‘fully right-wing’ government for the first time in a long time, there is real potential that the Passover sacrifice could be performed in a respectful way, with approval from and coordination with all of the different authorities, principally the Israel Police, which are under your power as the new national security minister of the State of Israel,” the group wrote to Ben Gvir recently.

Tyranny: Brussels Rolling Out a New ‘Digital Identity’ System for EU Citizens

Some are warning that the European Union is undergoing a “Chinafication.” The EU will reportedly test a new digital identity program for its citizens later this year with a rollout planned for September 2023.

Critics warn that it’s a “Trojan horse” that will place too much personal information in the hands of the government.

But the idea is also gaining support in the U.S.

Will the Proposed Digital Identity Be Ripe for Abuse?

An animated EU video with a cheery introduction explains that the EU’s upcoming digital identity program will make citizens’ lives easier while keeping them safer online.

The video states, “The European Digital Identity wallets will allow us to store and exchange documents and legal information, while fully controlling which data we want to share with whom.”

EU President Ursula von der Leyen says digital identities will give citizens control over how their personal data is used and will help stop identity theft.

The so-called digital wallet will be an app on a person’s phone and contain only the information they want it to include, such as medical or financial information.

Democrat elected to Congress will be sworn in on a copy of ‘Superman #1,’ worth about $5.3 million

A Democrat who was elected to U.S. Congress in 2020 will be sworn in on various documents, including a copy of the first “Superman” comic book, which is worth about $5.3 million.

A journalist spotted the classic comic book among the many religious books and other documents over which members of Congress had chosen to take their oaths.

When the journalist inquired about the identity of the member, a congressional aide refused to say.

The mystery was solved when Robert Garcia, a Democrat from Long Beach, California, tweeted that he was the person who would be sworn in on the comic book.

“Will be proudly sworn-in to Congress on the U.S. Constitution. Underneath the Constitution will be 3 items that mean a lot to me personally,” Garcia tweeted.

Scientists successfully reverse human aging process in breakthrough study

The fountain of youth may be made of air, not water.

Scientists say they’ve successfully reversed the aging process of elderly people through “oxygen therapy” in a first-of-its-kind study.

Researchers from Tel Aviv University used hyperbaric oxygen chambers to target specific cells and DNA linked to shorter lifespans — and found the “Holy Grail” of staying young, according to a press release about the discovery.

During the study, researchers investigated whether the therapy — which involves breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized environment — could reverse the effects of aging in 35 people over age 64, according to the study, which was published Wednesday in the journal Aging.

They placed elderly participants in the chamber for 90 minutes a day, five days a week for three months and studied its impact on senescent cells, which are associated with tissue and organ deterioration. They also measured the length of each person’s telomere, a molecule linked to premature cellular aging.

Biblical Prophecy Is Unfolding as the World Turns Against Israel

Christians across the globe believe they are living in the End Times. And evidence continues to pile up in that belief’s corner.

The world is currently enduring a conglomeration of events that are all predicted to occur in the Bible, wars and rumors of wars overlap historic droughts and decaying morality within society. Men call evil good and good evil, and have replaced God with false idols.

Perhaps the most telling sign of the times is the changing attitude toward Israel. Across the world, Jews are enduring an increase of anti-Semitism, including from countries that were once staunch allies.

The most glaring and hypocritical source of anti-Semitism in the world however comes from the closest thing to a one-world government in the world at the moment: the United Nations.

Israel has been targeted and attacked constantly by unelected bureaucrats within the U.N.

South Carolina Supreme Court rules fetal heartbeat law ‘unconstitutional’

Court found that banning abortion after six weeks’ pregnancy ‘is an unreasonable restriction upon a woman’s right to privacy’

A South Carolina state law that would have restricted abortions after a fetal heartbeat is detected was declared unconstitutional by the state’s Supreme Court.

In a 3-2 decision Thursday, the South Carolina Supreme Court said the Fetal Heartbeat Act illegally infringes on a woman’s right to privacy. The act was signed into law by Gov. Henry McMaster in 2021 and prohibited abortion once a fetus’s heartbeat can be detected, which usually occurs around six weeks of pregnancy.

Writing for the majority, Justice Kaye Hearn said, “We hold that the decision to terminate a pregnancy rests upon the utmost personal and private considerations imaginable, and implicates a woman’s right to privacy. While this right is not absolute and must be balanced against the State’s interest in protecting unborn life, this Act, which severely limits — and in many instances completely forecloses — abortion, is an unreasonable restriction upon a woman’s right to privacy, and is therefore unconstitutional.”

Parents slam effort to ban ‘hate speech’ from school-board meetings

Man dared to call homosexuality ‘immoral’ and quote a Bible verse

Loudoun County parents are speaking out against a resident’s petition that calls to ban hate speech from school board meetings following a school board meeting in which parents lambasted school officials over their handling of a sexual assault case.

The petition, signed by several hundred county residents and started by 19-year-old Andrew Pihonak, a Loudoun County resident and member of the LGTBTQ community, calls to “ban hate speech in Loudoun School Board meetings” after a man called homosexuality “immoral” and quoted a violent Bible verse during the public comment period of the Dec. 13 board meeting. Parents present at the meeting and seeking accountability from the school board for a special grand jury report, which found the district failed to alert the community of multiple sexual assaults within the district, told the Daily Caller News Foundation the one comment is not representative of their efforts and that their demands have nothing to do with the LGBTQ community.

The petition misrepresents parents at the Dec. 13 school board meeting who are focusing on holding the school board accountable, Colin Donniger, a Loudoun County parent, told the DCNF.

Scientists create ‘baby’ wormhole as sci-fi moves closer to fact

In science fiction – think films and TV like “Interstellar” and “Star Trek” – wormholes in the cosmos serve as portals through space and time for spacecraft to traverse unimaginable distances with ease. If only it were that simple.

Scientists have long pursued a deeper understanding of wormholes and now appear to be making progress. Researchers announced on Wednesday that they forged two minuscule simulated black holes – those extraordinarily dense celestial objects with gravity so powerful that not even light can escape – in a quantum computer and transmitted a message between them through what amounted to a tunnel in space-time.

It was a “baby wormhole,” according to Caltech physicist Maria Spiropulu, a co-author of the research published in the journal Nature. But scientists are a long way from being able to send people or other living beings through such a portal, she said.

“Experimentally, for me, I will tell you that it’s very, very far away. People come to me and they ask me, ‘Can you put your dog in the wormhole?’ So, no,” Spiropulu told reporters during a video briefing. “That’s a huge leap.”

Rogue geoengineering outfit claims to be dumping unmonitored particles into stratosphere to change the weather

A rogue solar geoengineering start-up claims to have begun using balloons to launch reflective clouds into the stratosphere for the purpose of changing the weather.

Although the initiative may be presently little more than a publicity stunt, Luke Iseman, cofounder and CEO of Make Sunsets, told the MIT Technology Review that he hopes this provocative cloud-seeding effort will help launch what may be a lucrative “cooling” industry.

What are the details?

According to Make Sunsets’ website, “we need to start cooling the world immediately.”

While Iseman condoned property destruction in a blog entry as one way to bring about this end, the method he has personally resolved to use is geoengineering, specifically by way of “albedo enhancement” or albedo modification (i.e., the reflection of sunlight).

Misguided Hope: The Growing Call For A Global Government And World Leader

It appears that the United States and several other countries that historically have called themselves democracies are as of late been longing for a stronger and stronger leader, not a president, but more like a king. And, those leaders who do already rule countries with almost absolute authority are not really qualified to take these ultimate positions because they inevitably end up falling into megalomania.

For example, Russia’s Vladamir Putin started off as his nation’s president, but then eventually became a dictator for life. Now he sees himself as an emissary for God with a divine calling to reunite Russian and Ukrainian Orthodoxy. The end step in the path towards megalomania usually is to declare oneself as a god or even the God. We see this pattern throughout history. These leaders may start off with the right idea in serving their nation, but soon the power goes to their heads and they quickly begin demanding that the nation instead serve themselves.

There are many examples of such political leaders throughout history. Megalomania is almost the default tendency of mankind. Remember Nimrod who was a great leader back in his day. We learned that he and his descendants tried to create the Tower of Babel. Over and over again in Scripture, we are presented by leaders who set themselves up against God’s divine leadership by trying to create their own pagan empires surrounding Israel.

And, in recent years, we’ve been given a number of examples of leaders who exhibit megalomania. Just in this last century, we’ve had Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and Mao. The Premier in China right now, Mr. Xi, is obviously heading in the same direction. Throughout human history, there’s been Alexander the Great, Genghis Khan, and Napoleon. Napoleon was such a megalomaniac that he didn’t even deem anybody else worthy of crowning him, so he crowned himself as the emperor of France! Even during the pandemic, many leaders began heartily embracing this authoritarian concept, who ought to have known better.
