Abortion is the Leading Cause of Death Worldwide, Killing 73 Million People Every Year

A startling new report estimates the world now is killing 73 million unborn babies in abortions every year.

The number from the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute, United Nations and World Health Organization is much higher than other recent estimates. One figure, which LifeNews.com reported about earlier this year, put the number of abortions world-wide at 42.6 million in 2021.

Live Action News reports the Guttmacher study came to the 73 million estimate by looking at abortion data from more than 100 countries between 2015 and 2019. In those five years, the researchers believe a horrific 365 million abortions took place across the world.

According to the study, 61 percent of women facing unintended pregnancies had abortions, an 18-percent increase compared to abortions in the 1990s.

However, the study also suggests pro-life laws do save babies’ lives.

Guttmacher researcher Jonathan Bearak found that 70 percent of women with unintended pregnancies have abortions in countries where abortion is “broadly legal,” compared to 50 percent in countries where abortions are restricted or banned, according to Live Action.

“This study adds to the body of data which shows that an important reason behind the long-term decline in the U.S. abortion rate is because a higher percentage of unintended pregnancies are being carried to term,” Dr. Michael New, a research associate at the pro-life Charlotte Lozier Institute, told Live Action News.

World Is Silent as Palestinian Rioters Torch Joseph’s Tomb

Palestinian rioters on Saturday night vandalized Joseph’s Tomb, one of Judaism’s holiest sites, setting it on fire and smashing the gravestone.

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett expressed his “shock” over the incident that occurred near the West Bank city of Nablus.

“During the night Palestinians destroyed Joseph’s Tomb. Dozens of Palestinian rioters in a campaign of destruction simply violated a holy place for us, the Jews,” Bennett said at the start of the cabinet meeting.

“We will not stand by such an assault on a place that is holy to us — on the eve of Passover — and we will get to the rioters,” he said. “And of course we will make sure to reconstruct what they destroyed, as we always do.”

Around 100 Palestinians broke into the site overnight amid clashes between Palestinian gunmen and Israeli troops nearby. The Israeli Defense Forces arrested eight Palestinian terror suspects.

The raids were in response to a deadly terror attack in Tel Aviv on Thursday night in which three Israelis were gunned down.

Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz said the vandalism was a “serious event,” and said he had sent a “strong message” to the Palestinian Authority about the attack on the shrine.

“The vandalism of Joseph’s Tomb is a serious event and a grave violation of freedom of worship in one of the holiest places for every Jew. It violates the feelings of the entire Jewish nation, especially when it occurs during the Muslim holy month,” Gantz said.

Deutsche Bank becomes the first big bank to forecast a US recession by 2023

The Federal Reserve’s fight against inflation will spark a recession in the United States that begins late next year, Deutsche Bank warned on Tuesday. The recession call — the first from a major bank — reflects growing concern that the Fed will hit the brakes on the economy so hard that it will inadvertently end the recovery that began just two years ago.

“We no longer see the Fed achieving a soft landing. Instead, we anticipate that a more aggressive tightening of monetary policy will push the economy into a recession,” Deutsche Bank economists led by Matthew Luzzetti wrote in the report.

‘The US economy is expected to take a major hit from the extra Fed tightening by late next year and early 2024,’ the bank’s economists said in a note to clients Tuesday.

‘We see two negative quarters of growth and a more than 1.5 percent point rise in the US unemployment rate, developments that clearly qualify as a recession, albeit a moderate one.’

The prediction comes as the Fed voted to raise interest rates last month by a quarter-point for the first time in three years to curb inflation, which is at nearly 8 percent and the highest its been in 40 years. It also comes as a 2-year Treasury yield momentarily surpassed the 10-year yield last week, a classic sign that has preceded every US recession.

While the Federal Reserve is aiming to raise interest rates by 2 percent by the end of 2022, Deutsche anticipates the Fed will go beyond that and raise rates to 3.5 percent into 2023.

The central bank projects overall inflation will be up 4.3 percent just this year. Meanwhile, economic growth is projected at 2.8 percent this year, a steep drop from the 4.0 percent growth projected in December.

Doctors Say 5 Late-Term Aborted DC Babies Appear to Be Victims of Partial-Birth Abortion or Infanticide

A shocking discovery has Republican lawmakers calling for an investigation into a Washington, D.C. abortion clinic after pro-life activists gained possession of the remains of five fully-formed babies that reportedly came from the clinic.

The Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising (PAAU) asked D.C. police to investigate if the babies were the victims of illegal abortions, but received no response. The D.C. medical examiner reportedly chose not to conduct autopsies, claiming the five late-term babies seem to have been legally aborted.

That led more than two dozen Republican members of Congress and other pro-life groups to take up the cause.

“We join in with their cry asking for the D.C. mayor and the medical examiner to give an autopsy to these children so we can know if this is a PB (partial-birth) abortion situation,” Live Action Correspondent Christina Bennett told CBN News’ Faith Nation.

Two physicians who examined photos of the remains disagree with the D.C. medical examiner. They say they believe it is indeed possible the babies were the victims of illegal partial-birth abortion, or even infanticide, according to a report published by LifeNews.com.

Dr. Robin Pierucci, a neo-natal specialist, said the babies “died at an age when they were viable, premature people.”

Dr. Kathi Aultman, a board-certified OB-GYN, and a former abortionist told LifeNews.com that unless a drug was given to kill one of the babies before the abortion, that one victim “may very well have been born alive and then left to die.” That would qualify as infanticide – the killing of a newborn baby.

Biden’s HHS chief wants taxpayer-funded child mutilation and amputation

Joe Biden’s appointee to lead the nation’s Health and Human Services, Xavier Becerra, confirmed in a congressional committee hearing that he advocates for mutilating the bodies of children who are presented to surgeons as transgender, therefore needing surgeries to “change” them from male to female or female to male.

He was confronted during the hearing by Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., about recommendations and requirements in rules issued by his department.

Those include various surgeries to remove the body parts that don’t align with the child’s “gender identity.”

She asked him about those surgeries.

He tried to avoid the question, stating, “I don’t equate gender affirming care with mutilation.”

But he admitted those surgeries are part of the services to which Americans are “entitled.” Further, he said tax dollars need to fund such procedures.

The science on the issue confirms that the vast majority of children with a gender dysphoria grow out of that confusion as they grow toward adulthood. Further, studies confirm that many of those who do a “trans” procedure end up, at some point, trying to commit suicide.

Katie Pavlich in a column at Townhall, pointed out Biden just announced last week a new, taxpayer financed and whole-of-government campaign to promote transgenderism.

Christian leaders including James Dobson and Franklin Graham immediately condemned it as no more or less than “vile.”

Biden pushes for ‘gender-affirming care’ that mutilates bodies of children

Only a day after Fox News host Tucker Carlson revealed that the transgender movement across the U.S. is being pushed by those who profit from it – activists and lobbyists and some hospitals and pharmaceuticals, Joe Biden has revealed federal documents promoting surgeries that mutilate the healthy bodies of children and leave them sterile for life.

While promoters long have argued that “transitioning” from being male to female or vice versa is essential to that person’s mental health, the reality is that nearly 42% of transgenders admit to having attempted suicide.

Now Biden’s HHS Office of Population Affairs has posted online his promotion for those drastic chemical treatments and surgical procedures.Biden told those individuals suffering from gender dysphoria, a condition that vanishes for vast percentages of victims if they are left alone, “I have your back.”

Biden’s HHS document claims “gender-affirming” care includes “medical, surgical, mental health, and non-medical services.”

It’s important, HHS said, because it allows “children and adolescents” to “focus on social transitions…”

It alleges that such care provides “positive outcomes for transgender and nonbinary children and adolescents,” even though virtually all who move all the way through the procedures are sterile for life and “support” is required.

University Caught Storing Bags of Aborted Babies and Aborted Baby Parts

Pro-life advocates made a disturbing discovery earlier this month in a lab at the University of Washington Department of Pediatrics: a freezer full of rows and rows of aborted babies’ body parts.

Pro-life advocates with Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising (PAAU), Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust, Pro-Life San Francisco and Rehumanize International said they gained access to the freezer March 9 after confronting university leaders about its unethical practices as the largest and most active fetal organ bank in the nation.

“The American people must be made aware of the mass dehumanization of these unborn children who are violently killed and thrown into a freezer, whose body parts are then portioned out to researchers in pursuit of federal funding,” said Terrisa Bukovinac, founder and executive director of PAAU.

This week, the pro-life groups published a photo of the freezer, which they said contained row after row of bags and containers of aborted babies’ body parts, labeled and prepared to be shipped to scientific researchers across the country.

“It is my hope that this photograph reminds us all that there are real victims being lethally oppressed by UW and traded like property,” Bukovinac said. “Fetal trafficking is abhorrent and it must end.”

Some of the body parts may have come from healthy, late-term aborted babies who were viable and capable of feeling pain. Others even may have been born alive.

Seriously out of whack: Government makes it a crime to spank a child

Starting now, if a parent spanks a disobedient child that action could result in a criminal record in one country.

And it applies to anyone who has responsibility for a child, such as a relative or caretaker when the parent is absent.

And it applies to visitors – and their children – too.

The new law has been implemented in Wales, which followed Scotland in deciding that no corporal punishment on a child is legal, ever.

Physical punishment already was a violation of the law in schools, children’s homes, local authority foster care homes and childcare settings.

Even hitting a child already was considered common assault even by a parent or caretaker.

But the law allowed them to raise the defense that it was a reasonable punishment.

Now that option is gone.

The BBC said Welsh First Minister Mark Drakeford called it a “historic” day for children there.

The ban is on anything involving a “smack, hit, or slap” of a child.

New California Bill Would Legalize Infanticide by Permitting ‘Perinatal Death,’ Pro-Lifers Say

A new California bill backed by prominent leaders would permit infanticide by legalizing “perinatal death,” a medical phrase that includes the time after birth, pro-life activists are warning.

Supporters of the bill, AB 2223, say it would ensure that pregnant women cannot be prosecuted for an abortion, miscarriage or stillbirth. The bill’s language, though, extends beyond those three categories, critics say.

Specifically, AB 2223 says “a person shall not be subject to civil or criminal liability or penalty” due to their “miscarriage, stillbirth, or abortion, or perinatal death.”

Further, the bill protects anyone “who aids or assists a pregnant person in exercising their rights under this” bill.

Merriam-Webster defines “perinatal death” as “occurring in, concerned with, or being in the period around the time of birth.” A 2005 article in the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health defined perinatal as the “time period starting at 22 completed weeks (154 days) gestation and lasting through seven days after birth.”

AB 2223 was named a priority bill by the California Future of Abortion Council, which California Gov. Gavin Newsom supports. The council lists Newsom as a participant. Members of the council include Planned Parenthood and NARAL Pro-Choice California.

“Although definitions of ‘perinatal death’ vary, all of them include the demise of newborns seven days or more after birth,” Greg Burt of the California Family Council wrote in a blog on the organization’s website.

The bill, Burt said, would “codify the killing of unborn children throughout all nine months of pregnancy but to decriminalize killing newborns days or even weeks after birth.”

Pastor Warns About Disney Pixar’s New Film “Turning Red,” Says It’s Possibly “Demonic”

Disney Pixar’s latest animated feature, “Turning Red,” has been turning many heads in the Christian community for the presence of several subtle and not-so-subtle themes in the movie that many warn parents should be aware of.

One New York pastor, Mike Signorelli, screened the movie to determine whether it would be appropriate for his own children to watch and shared his warning about the “dangerous” movie with CBN News’ Faithwire last week.

“I believe that every parent — not just a pastor, but a parent — has a mandate to actually screen material,” he told the outlet. “Because every single device you have in your home is a portal, either a window into the things of God or, unfortunately, things that I believe are demonic.”

“Within the first eight minutes, I was absolutely appalled,” he said.

A central theme in the movie is communication with the Chinese-American protagonists’ ancestors, which Signorelli noted is patently unbiblical. “Is it demonic?” he asks.

“We know in Hebrews 9:27, it’s appointed once to live and then to die and we face judgment, and it’s strictly forbidden, in the Christian context, to communicate with the dead,” he explained. “And so, even within the first eight minutes, you have chanting, communication with ancestors, and immediately a red flag should start to go off.”

The film, which centers around a 13-year-old girl who is torn between her parents’ high standards and the school friends they disapprove of, is being hailed by supportive critics at a fun, honest parable of female puberty as protagonist Ming starts turning into a giant red panda whenever she gets excited.

The themes of challenging parental authority as well as subtle implications that one of Ming’s friends experiences same-sex attraction have been highlighted by concerned conservative critics, yet as Singnorelli noted, the point at which the young woman defiantly declares “my panda, my choice” seems like an overt nod to the pro-abortion movement.

Bear in mind, this is an animated film that is rated PG, classified as a “family” movie, and largely marketed towards younger audiences.
