Years after it mattered, a mainline American denomination has finally thrown its full support behind the crumbling façade of transgender medicine. In its 227th General Assembly this summer, the Presbyterian Church (USA) voted overwhelmingly to “Declare that the PC(USA) supports all individuals to have access to all medically necessary, evidence-based gender-affirming healthcare.” Such a declaration, coming in 2026, is a bit like waiting for the gale before spitting into the wind.

The persecution of Christians appears to be intensifying in the Central American country of Nicaragua under the dictatorship of Daniel Ortega, as a Catholic bishop, two priests, and a deacon were arrested and detained last week, apparently for asking for prayers for an end to religious persecution in the country.

(Queensland, Australia) — Around the world, public institutions seem to have a problem with prayer. Well, more specifically, they have a problem with Christian prayer because they hate anything that actively opposes their vision of a society where they get to write the rules. This is why, even though many Western governments have tolerated the model prayer of Matthew 6, they bitterly oppose the suggestion that God’s kingdom should come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

On 26 March 1897, Australian leaders were presented with a petition lobbying for the inclusion of prayer at the beginning of each sitting day of Parliament. In the following months, some opposed the idea, believing that members would eventually become indifferent to it as had happened in the United Kingdom.

As the United States marked the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, a stark contrast was illuminated in the nation like never before.

As one side emphasized the Biblically grounded roots of America’s founding and the freedom that a godly beginning produced, cheering for the nation and recalling the stand taken by the Founders that made America distinct among the nations. The other side viewed history through a dark lens, smearing Judeo-Christian values and painting a path forward that would steer the nation into further rebellion against God and toward the ideological prison of socialism.

What would you think if someone told you they could instantly make you as smart as AI? What if they said they could make you immune to all diseases or could cure any of your disabilities? I realize these claims may sound far-fetched, like something from science fiction, but they reflect the very goals pursued by transhumanists. For readers unfamiliar with the term, transhumanism means going beyond the human condition—“trans” comes from Latin and means “beyond,” “across,” or “on the other side of,” while “human” refers to mankind. In short, transhumanism (often abbreviated as “H+”) is a movement that aims to use modern technology to enhance and transform humanity.

Matthew 7:21 reads, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.”

Scripture is clear that not everyone who claims to be in Christ is actually in Christ. There are many who profess Christ with their mouths, but their hearts are far from him. And how do we know? Because they don’t do what He says: “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments” (John 14:15).
