Man is in rebellion against God’s laws. This sermon looks at God’s laws, at the current state of today’s society, and for us to look at ourselves as well. We need to keep God’s laws without excuse, both in the physical and spiritual intent of them as designed by God. Each of us is a committee of one, to spread love, that is magnified by every aspect of God’s laws, and to get ourselves ready for the return of Christ.

This sermon addresses the various phases of God’s work. When Jesus became flesh, all those called in New Testament times have been called directly by God the Father. Now God the Father and Jesus Christ have other phases of the work, that continue in the Day of the Lord, until all phases of man’s salvation are completed.

God is the God of the living. Keeping the holy days help us to understand God’s plan, the hope of glory. The Passover starts the plan of salvation for mankind. This plan of salvation is represented in the seven holy days that God and Christ have established for mankind.

The Passover is a memorial of the death of Christ. As a human Christ could not sin. We need to desire to keep the Passover in a worthy manner and renew our contract with God. Only then can He make His abode within us, and for us to see His plan of salvation fulfilled.

God and Christ have a timetable for the fulfilment of Their plan for salvation. Christ was human but overcame His human nature and succeeded. We must do the same. There are numerous examples of miracles in the bible of how God saved Israel. Our calling was a miracle. We are possessors of God’s spirit and we can use God’s spirit by getting and keeping closer to God.
