The Father and Christ have devised a wonderful plan of salvation for mankind. It is the Father who calls an individual, and the individual is then given to Christ to bring that individual to perfection. We are called, chosen and must be faithful. Faith is a gift of God. Are we being arrogant by saying the CGF is the true church of God? We are a small and afflicted church with little strength, but we have new truth from the Word of God. We need to remain zealous to do God’s work to show our appreciation for our calling.

The Day of the Lord has come and Jesus is now discerning and “checking us out”. Visits by Jesus in Old Testament and New Testament times has been and is His normal way of doing things. There are various phases in the past, present and future that Jesus has and will be involved with to finish God’s work. Will we have a good report on our part in God’s work?
