A Formula For Repentance

Mr. Jon Ardis      01-10-2004

Many of our trials are caused by ourselves.  2 Cor 7:11 shows us that we cannot continue to go to God over the same sin(s). Godly sorrow works repentance to salvation. A seven point formula for effective repentance is discussed. These seven points are: 1. Diligence about our calling and not being casual about sin, 2. Seeking after a good name/reputation, 3. Righteous anger to hate sin. 4. Having a proper fear and respect for God, 5. Have an intense desire to overcome on a daily basis, 6. Have zeal for the work of God, and 7. Recognise and correct what wrong personal actions and attitudes exist.

Suffering

Mr. Robert Ardis     10-10-2002

This sermon looks at the character of Job in the Old Testament and individuals in the New Testament such as Paul and Gaius. These individuals provide an example of how to  overcome today.  Rev 7:9 is an inset chapter within Revelation describing the Innumerable Multitude, from all of mankind, that will be successful in overcoming tribulation in a world influenced by Satan. NOT all individuals will go through the GREAT Tribulation.
