Pentecost brought amazing happenings to occur amongst Jesus’ disciples and numbers were added to the church. Pentecost was an event that both the Father and Christ were involved in. We look forward to a future Pentecost when we will either be changed or resurrected.

This sermon address our vision for today, our future, and mankind’s future. We may not see immediate results from our prayers, obedience, faith, etc. but God knows. He has a plan which will be accomplished for ourselves and mankind. Are we putting God first now and praying to be accounted worthy by Him?

Pentecost is a glorious day and will be a glorious day in the future. We must continue to be living to our full potential in Christ We must continue to have faith that God will perform His promises to us.

Through God’s holy spirit all things were created. God wants to give us more of His Holy Spirit. God the Father calls us and gives us to His church. Those called in our time have to overcome Satan and therefore a tremendous reward/commission awaits us.

This day is our day. We must continue to strive to perfection. The Firstfruits will be a select group, the very Elect with a special character in us. It is God who is working in us to be His very Elect. Numerous scriptures are discussed that support this.

Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and need to be cared for. In our earthly body we have a life of struggling to overcome. God offers each of us a tremendous incentive to hold fast. Allow God to renew our mind to step into a new spiritual body!

We are special to God. We have an invitation directly from the Father to be a Firstfruit! We must be faithful to our calling. Scriptures are provided to show us who we are and who we will be at His coming.

We have a royal standard to uphold as King-priests in training. This involves thinking spiritually on the God level now, learning God’s standards of living now, being servants of God from the heart, and being trustworthy and dependable in prayer, bible study, tithing, fasting, etc.

We must continue to keep the vision that we are to be God’s royalty in His coming kingdom. This is hard for us to fully appreciate now in our present human state, however God has pre-destinated us to this position before the world began. What we must ask ourselves now, is what we are going to do individually with this invitation? This vision must be our driving force in the difficult times ahead.

There is nothing too hard for God! Creation is an example of God’s power. Pentecost shows us how much we need God’s Holy Spirit to lead and guide us in overcoming. God knows when it is best to call each person within His plan for mankind.
