Events In Our Time – Revisited

Mr. Gerry Ardis   01-08-2022  (from 12-12-2009)

Are you afraid of truth? The spiritual temple has been built though the ministry of HWA. Those being called now are from the “streets and lanes” and “highways and hedges”.

How not to slip:

  1. Being fully grounded in the truth
  2. Not allowing oneself to be caught up in materialism and the cares of life
  3. Allowing spiritual sluggishness to occur by being negligent of regular bible study, prayer, fasting, meditation
  4. Being watchful and not yielding to Satan’s deceptions
  5. Being watchful not to be deceived through the messages of false teachers

Godly Behaviour – Revisited

Mr. Ardis  01-01-2022  (from 11-07-2009)

We all must be prepared to give an answer for what we believe.  Therefore we must know what we believe and how to teach it. We must also know how we need to conduct ourselves thereby setting an example to others.

Are we prepared to answer these questions?

  1. What chapters in Revelation are out of time order?
  2. Are chapters 9,10 and 11 of Revelation one continuous vision?
  3. Revelation 6:10 speaks of time no longer. Can we explain what this means?
  4. Revelation 10 and Revelation 11 – Do they discuss the opening of the seven seals?
  5. Is Revelation 7 and Revelation 14 discussing the same group of people?
  6. Are there 144,000 people sealed before the great tribulation?
  7. What does Revelation 10:6 speak about?

Removing The Barrier To Our Minds – Revisited

Mr. John Durrad  12-18-2021  (from 01-01-2011)

How can we keep both our minds and hearts softened towards God? This sermon focuses on how we can remove barriers in our minds to obey God properly. Proverbs  can teach us from Solomon’s experience.

  1. Who are your friends? Wrong friends can entice you to sin. Weigh them carefully.
  2. We reap what we sow. Choose to obey God and He will reward with good things in return.
  3. Discipline. Do we value correction? Correction is a life-long process. All scripture is given for correction.
  4. Do we work when able to?  God’s work will lead us to fulfil our potential. We have no excuses to avoid our responsibilities and to obey God.
  5. We must be receptive to God’s words daily for Him to complete a successful work in our lives. (prayer, bible study, fasting, meditation)

Mr. Jon Ardis   12-04-2021  (from 12-31-2005)

We are here to learn how to be kings and priests in the world tomorrow. We will be teachers to those not called now. We need to learn now how to be leaders as well. Humility is a major character needed to build the church of God and the opportunity to teach.

Falling Away – Revisited

Mr. John Durrad    11-27-2021   (from 11-14-2009)

Some people are no longer with us. Why? How serious is it to fall away? God is not a respecter of persons. God allows us to make mistakes, but we actually can quench the Spirit. We need to instil safeguards to ensure that we won’t fail/fall away.

Five reasons why individuals can fall away:

  1. They are not firmly grounded in the truth
  2. Going after material things (materialism)
  3. Spiritual sluggishness/lethargy
  4. Yielding to Satan’s wiles
  5. Following false teachers
