Temperance involves being discrete, using restraint and moderation in all things. This includes our use of alcohol. Scriptures are discussed that show that the proper use of wine is a blessing of God, for enjoyment, health, and healing. The changing of water into wine was the first miracle performed by Jesus.

The book of Revelation is prophesy put into a time frame. The history of the seven church eras of God reveals that Satan has been able to deceive God’s people when they lost spiritual discernment. We must know where our Faithful Lamp is working, and follow that Faithful Lamp who is Jesus Christ.

Psalm 32  A wonderful psalm of David confirming that blessings consist in remission or forgiveness of sins.  David confirms that confession of sins gives people peace of mind and eases the conscience. Each of us is blessed materially in some way but the main blessing of life is forgiveness from God and the promise of eternal life in the future.

We must continue to judge ourselves according to the Bible. and the standard of Christ which is perfection. Abraham and Moses had a good report. If we judge ourselves and see improvements are needed, what are we going to do about it?

Triumph Gloriously – Revisited

We see time passing quickly and the world seems to be falling apart and more evil being seen. We need to ask ourselves if we can become more converted with each day that passes and make it into God’s kingdom. Do we seem to do better spiritually on the Sabbath, holy days and preparation days? The days of Unleavened Bread can be used as a starting point again to keep going and allow God’s spirit to help us overcome.

FDUB – To Overcome

The Passover is a memorial of the death of Christ. As a human Christ could not sin. We need to desire to keep the Passover in a worthy manner and renew our contract with God. Only then can He make His abode within us, and for us to see His plan of salvation fulfilled.
