Those Things Concerning Jesus Christ – Revisited

This sermon discuses 35 scriptures describing who Jesus Christ is. We can use these scriptures to teach about Jesus Christ to those new to the CGF, particularly those those who have not have had contact with the teachings of HWA or the Worldwide Church of God.

The Hope That Is In You – Revisited

Desire with the expectation that it can be obtained gives us hope. Unless hope is big enough to survive success it brings sadness, apathy, an empty circle in the life of mankind. The only thing worth living for is what you are willing to die for. Do each of us have that kind of hope?

When Two Worlds Collide – Part 3

God can love everyone but we in our human condition can only love a few persons well. Relationships die because of neglect/inattention. Jesus in the flesh loved a few people boldly, with narrowly focused love, that left a legacy to turn mankind to God. We need to decide upon who  we can give our primary focus (concentrated care)  to, just as Jesus did, as our example to follow.

Honor, Praise, And Glory

Learning to deny self is a lifelong process. We must think about anger, its effects on relationships, and how to deal with it according to God’s will. We must choose to respond in a way that breaks expressions of anger. Several scriptures describe how Jesus practiced what He preached. He is our example to follow.
