God has used the Beginning of Months to announce important messages to Israel. This sermon discusses a number of these messages.

We all want to be worthy of our calling and fulfill all of God's good pleasure. Jesus was our best example. We must: 1) keep the commandments, 2) keep our mind focused on the plan of God, 3) keep a close relationship with God through heartfelt prayer, 4) be thankful, and 5) be a peacemaker.

It is necessary that we learn how to rule our emotions. Seven steps are provided on how to practice making a cheerful and positive attitude a habit.

Procrastination is the thief of time. God wants us to make the best use of our time as described in the Parable of the Talents. Discussed are four categories of procrastination and how to overcome them.

The CGF has a two-fold commission; (1) to go to Laodicea and (2) to measure ourselves. Longsuffering was required by God's people in the past and is required now to fulfill our commission.

God has used the Beginning of Months in combination with the Sabbath and Holy Days to make announcements to Israel and His church. Also we must continue to use our time wisely to overcome, and to examine and correct ourselves, so that God does not have to. Are we an example of moral excellence and do people see this in our lives?

We must all make the most of our present state. If prayers are not answered, there is a reason for this. We also must give quality service by showing resoursefullness, overcoming obtstacles and doing the right things without being told. Our present state is a gift from God and is what is best for us.

A series of eleven questions is presented to help us examine ourselves in preparation for Passover and Days of Unleavened Bread.

Jesus always did those things that were pleasing to His Father. He gave us an example to follow. He committed Himself to the Father. Six of the fruits of God's Spirit are discussed and how these were evident in the life of Jesus.

Numerous scriptures are mentioned that describe the attributes that past characters in the bible demonstrated around the spirit of gentleness. We ourselves must also show gentleness as one of the fruits of the Spirit.

Judaism is divided into many sects with different beliefs. It is not unified. Jews today as a whole are not deeply interested in religion. This is not new condition. With human laws, traditions and reasoning, the Jews rejected God, and this is clearly shown in the plain facts of history. During the ministry of Jesus, He had to retrieve the Jews from apostacy and had to re-educate them in the Law which was lost.

Numerous scriptures are discussed showing God's goodness to mankind both physically and spiritually. These scriptures provide us with an example of God's spirit of goodness that we are to develop.

Goodness is a summary fruit of the spirit, exhibiting all the other fruits of the Spirit. Man's carnal nature wants to be right, but not to do what is right in God's eyes. God can bring goodness into our lives, but we must do good and this requires effort.

This sermon addresses many aspects of God's greatness both in the past, present and future. Each of the prophets, mentioned in the bible, and the seven churches discussed in Revelation have been offered different challenges and blessings. As Pillars in this present time we must be growing in worthiness and shooting for perfection.

We must be prepared both physically and spiritually for the challenging times ahead of us. Four points to prepare us to address the spiritual storms ahead are discussed. Will each of us be able to weather the spiritual storms ahead and be able to teach others?

As one of "the weightier matters of the law," faith is complete confidence in God, and without it we cannot please Him. It is a shield against all fiery darts, i.e., trials and temptations. It gives us power, and is a requirement for forgiveness of our sins. We are commanded to have faith and not to doubt.

Without faith we cannot please God. Five questions are proposed to help each of us determine if we have the faith to be considered a faithful and wise servant, who can be a future Pillar in God's kingdom.

The Wavesheaf day has been and is a significant event in the plan of God. It represents the fulfillment of God's plan through the resurrection and acceptance of Christ as a perfect sacrifice for His creation.

Jesus carried all sins to the stake. He is our example and we must be ready to follow His example. The First Day of Unleavened Bread must be kept at the proper time. This day in the past represented freedom for the Israelites out of physical bondage, and today it represents present and future freedom from spiritual bondage.

Are we thinking like God and where are we on the seven levels of spiritual reflex action? Christ had no safety net in dealing with sin and neither do we. Seven strategies to overcome the sin that so easily besets us discussed. We must always keep in focus the vision of what we can be in God's kingdom, just as Christ had this vision.

The Sabbath and the Feast Days of God all belong together. They tell us how to have a relationship with The Father and Jesus. If we want to claim Christ's sacrifice on our behalf, then we must keep the Passover and Days of Unleavened Bread as Christ has outlined in the bible for us. If we understand the true spiritual meaning of Unleavened Bread and do it, then we will have no condemnation and be blameless before God.

We do not want to provoke God as our forefathers did. We must be faithful and worthy to go to the place of safety. The bible has many scriptures that describe the rewards of being faithful to the end. Prove God in keeping His promises for proper tithing and keeping of all God's commandments and Feast days.

The first Passover was a life or death issue. We all will have to choose between life and good, and death and evil. The Passover is a unique ceremony. Having a correct understanding of when to keep it, of its symbols and how to take it worthily, is a matter of life and death. The Father has and will continue to reject the traditions of men concerning the Passover.

In this sermon is a summary of God's saving of Israel from the plagues that fell upon Egypt. All things work together for God's purpose. We are called, justified and to be glorified. We need to be prepared to claim that promise!

Meekness is a humbleness of mind that makes us more able to yield to the Divine will of God. Meeknesss is an individual characteristic, and also can be seen in a collective group of individuals. With the spirit of meekness we can be used as vessels of honor for God.

We need to remove, replace and rejoice! We must come out of sin by removing it out of our lives. Deleavening is symbolic for removing sin. God helps us to keep His commandments and be doers and not only hearers of the Word. Righteousness is demonstrated by the amount of spiritual effort applied by the individual against sin in one's life. We can rejoice in our understanding of the feast of unleavened bread and its meaning for us!

Pentecost in the future will be our day! We must continue to apply diligence in our work on the fruits of the Spirit to make our calling sure. The faithful in Christ Jesus will keep the Pentecost vision daily in our minds.

Christ as a human being did not sin and provided us with a perfect example of all of the fruits of the Spirit. He came to serve, not to be served. A remarkable fact is that Jesus was not self-confident but realized that without the Father He could do nothing. Conversion is a growth process. We must be receptive to instruction, learn from suffering and develop meekness in order to follow Christ's example.

This is a detailed discussion of the religious history of the Jews and how they departed from the truth. The books of the Old Testament, contain the Law, the Prophets and Psalms. The Great Assembly of the Jews, comprised of 120 priests during the time of Ezra and Nehemiah, were responsible for approving the books contained in the Old Testament.

In the special music of the CGF, God is relaying something to us. If we believe, then we will receive and achieve. Four points are evident: 1) God has laid out a formula to perform miracles, 2) If the time is right, then time will tell, 3) We in the CGF are predestined to be here at this time in the Day of the Lord, and to have an open door, 4) We in the CGF have the faith to be used mightily by God.

Has the newness of our conversion worn off? Are we taking God, our calling and the Holy Spirit within us for granted? Three questions concerning our spiritual growth are put forth for each of us to consider. God wants each of us to succeed for His purpose.

Do we have the vision that God has for us now? The bible indicates that only 120 faithful were gathered together at Pentecost. Now today the church is divided. God wants us to all be of the same mind and all speak the same thing. God will back up the CGF by signs and wonders, and the CGF will do the work as directed by Christ.

We have been called as Pillars among the Firstfruits by the will of God. We have been spiritually blessed by knowing that the Day of the Lord is here! We have also been called to be the Wife of Christ. Do we have the vision of the promises to overcome and embrace them?

Through God's holy spirit all things were created. God wants to give us more of His Holy Spirit. God the Father calls us and gives us to His church. Those called in our time have to overcome Satan and therefore a tremendous reward/commission awaits us.

The last three chapters of the book of Daniel address the final vision given to Daniel concerning a time of great trouble to come, and the numbered days for the time of the end. Many key individuals and prophets of the bible have had to wait on the Eternal to see this prophesy fulfilled. As we too wait on God, we have longer to grow in the grace and knowledge of God as He perfects us further.

Temperance involves being descrete, using restraint and moderation in all things. This includes our use of alcohol. Scriptures are discussed that show that the proper use of wine is a blessing of God, for enjoyment, health, and healing. The changing of water into wine was the first miracle performed by Jesus.

All God's commandments are righteousness. We are to become Pillars with specific roles in God's coming kingdom. In order to fulfill our roles, we need to exercise our senses to determine good and evil. Not only the physical but the spiritual aspects of the ten commandments are always in effect. We must examine both our strengths and weeknesses and grow up into Christ in all things.

Righteousness is demonstrated by living by every word of God. We must examine and judge ourselves by God's word and not judge others. In this present world what we see and hear can be deceiving. This is examination time!

God is not a respector of persons, nor does He lie. It is then important for us to consider what we believe. We believe that we must live by every word of God, thereby seeking God's kingdom and the promises of God. Noah, Daniel and Job have been mentioned specifically in the bible for their righteousness. Ten acts of righteousness and related scriptures are presented.

The prophet Samuel gave three truths to Israel in the time of Saul. These three truths about obedience, rebellion and stubborness are discussed, along with their current application for today.

In today's society there are many things in place so that we do not have to wait and this has resulted in a society of impatient people. Are we in the CGF waiting correctly on God and living the way God wants us to? We must do our part to be wise, keep in the forefront of our minds the truths we have been given, and studying to show ourselves approved God's way.

The identification signs of the True Church of God is new Truth. There have been 120 new truths given to the CGF since the Day of the Lord began in 1997. The CGF also keeps God's Sabbath days, the Holy Days and the Beginning of Months, as these are ordained forever for spiritual Israel. This year in 2014 at Trumpets we will be entering into the 18th year of a 19 year time cycle. Could the crippled woman of Luke 13:10-17 represent the scattered churches being freed from bondage?

The Father and Son have all the fruits of the spirit in abundance. We can trust God as His word is Truth. The God family is Truth. Proof of this is provided in a number of scriptures.

This sermon provides a review of what was discussed in a sermon provided on the Feast of Trumpets 1997. Six thousand years of man going his own way appears to have ended. Presented are a number of scriptures showing the many events to come in the Day of the Lord, as seen through the eyes of John, who was projected in spirit into the Day of the Lord. The day of the Lord's wrath is to take place, in the future, within the Day of the Lord.

The belief that man has an immortal soul is a pagan belief, and is the first lie told by Satan to Eve that she would "not surely die". The bible says that man has a mortal soul that ceases to have any consious awareness after death. Numerous scriptures are presented from the bible that confirms this. The bible clearly shows when man will have the opportunity to be born again as an immortal being.

The signs of the times are getting more critical in this world and is a dangerous time for us in the CGF. Are we deceiving ourselves in our ability to accurately examine ourselves and correct error that we find? Are we able to bravely ask God to correct us in mercy? Three causes of self-deception is discussed. We do not want to find ourselves self-deceived as described in Matt 7:21-23!

Jesus is the living Word of God and the bible is the written Word of God. Numerous scriptures are described that prove this. The 12 of the fruits of the spirit describe the attitude/mind of Jesus. Courage/bravery is "dynamic faith in action". Any words similar to courage would be covered under the fruit of righteousness which we must all continue to strive towards.

During approximately 100 years under the prophets Ezra, Nehemiah and the Great Assembly, the Jews had peace and their children were correctly educated in the Law, the Prophets and the Psalms. Judiasm commenced with the Greek influence brought about by the defeat of the Persians who had rule over the Jews. Greek authority and power eliminated all traces of the true Jewish religion including their laws, statutes, and customs, as well as the Great Assembly. The historical record proves that Judiasm is not the religion of Moses.

The weightier matters of the law are judgement, mercy and faith. This sermon looks at mercy which is "love in action". Numerous scriptures show how God loves those who love Him and who keep His commandments. To be forgiven we must be merciful. Will God show His mercy to his faithful servants, and leave a "blessing" behind on the 24th day of the sixth month, which will be coming soon?
